About LPNOVA
The Libertarian Party of Northern Virginia (LPNOVA) is the official local affiliate of the Libertarian Party for the counties of Loudoun, Arlington, and Fairfax, including the cities of Alexandria, Falls Church, and Fairfax.
Our Mission
We advance the ideas of Liberty through social events, community outreach, and running candidates for elected office. We are committed to America's heritage of freedom and individual rights.
Coverage Area
LPNOVA serves registered members of the Libertarian Party and the Libertarian Party of Virginia within:
- Loudoun County

- City of Alexandria

Leadership & Governing Board
Our local chapter is governed by a seven-member board, elected annually at our convention. Board members are elected by the membership and serve one-year terms.

Annual Convention
The Governing Board is elected, and bylaws are changed at LPNOVA's annual convention. Our 2025 Annual Convention was held on November 16th, and our next convention will be in November 2026. All registered Libertarian Party members in our coverage area are welcome to attend and vote.
